I've also painted the walls, columns, and the entrance to the gallery to give the space the final touch. All in all, it was a great experience and I'm very happy with the result.]]>

II Artmossphere Street Art Biennale http://dmitriaske.com/post/73/

This year I curated a special project at the 2nd Artmosspehere Street Art Biennale in Moscow. I invited five Russian artists with a strong graffiti background — Alexey Luka, Petro, Slak, Sy, Pavel Rtue — and took part in the project myself. I wanted our styles both to look well together, as well as complement each other. Keeping in mind the main theme of the biennale, e.g. The Invisible Border, all the artists left their comfort zone and worked with volume, creating sculptures and installations. It was a really refreshing experience, and I'm very grateful to the organizers of the biennale for inviting me and to the artists for making it happen.]]>
